Spring young 'uns!

It was such a glorious morning today, the kind that makes you glad to be alive! Everything says spring...the birds, the blossoms on the trees, the buds, the green that is bursting out all over! So I neglected school for a little while and snapped a few shots of Jolly and Cake outside in the backyard.

I wonder if he dressed himself today..hmmm! Such a dear little man!

since Cake won't smile for the camera I decided to just get her to look down instead. She's going through a....phase, yeah!

Next time I'll fiddle more with the exposure settings, but I was in a hurry....

And we can't forget Baby Ruth! I have not posted any updated photos of her since she was born. I don't have too many, but we need to fix that! Beth holds Ruth as much as she can, and will not pass up any opportunities to be downstairs with the baby!


So far, she still has the chubby kissable cheeks, and she does take after her siblings, but seems to be very much her own person. She has decided opinions and seems to possess a bit of a temper! :) She actually reminds me a lot of our daughters at this age.


Especially in this shot...

I'm sure there are ways to take pictures to minimize infants' redness and blotchiness , but I haven't figured it out yet.

Well, must get on with life and busyness!
